Meet our Dentist, Dr. Karen Sheppard DDS

Dr. Karen Sheppard, originally from Missouri, graduated from Dental School at the University of Colorado, and is a 20-year retired Army Reserve Officer. While in Colorado, she learned to downhill ski and found a love for nature-hiking in the Great Rocky Mountains. She moved to the Northwest with her husband and practices dentistry in a large group practice before moving to Hawaii.

Dentistry is Dr. Sheppard’s passion. At age 18, with no training, ambition, or goals in lfe, she was hired as a dental assistant at the University of Missouri Dental School. Within weeks, she had found her love of life and knew what she wanted to do...become a great dentist. She loves working with her patients and making their experiences comfortable and pain-free. Her favorite aspect is cosmetic dentistry. It is so rewarding to help people have a health, beautiful smile.
